Standing on top of the Scarborough Bluffs overlooking Lake Ontario.
I always enjoy the beautiful view.
Water is the basis of life and the blue arteries of the earth!
Everything in the non-marine environment
depends on freshwater to survive.
But very often I found garbage along the bluffs.
To mention a few items I picked up today included
clear water bottles, juice boxes, coffee cups and plastic bags.
Windy conditions will blow the garbage to the shoreline below and add to the pollution of our lake.
In the park I discovered a small tree planted recently by City Staff.
A pink flowering dogwood tree.
I have planted one in our garden a few month ago.
Before heading home on this very warm and humid day I took some pictures
our Guildwood Park known for historic stone sculptures and arches.
